Hello, my name is Anna Cappello, and I am a graduate from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Film and TV Production major, graduating Magna Cum Laude. I have a minor in Music Industry within the Thornton School of Music. I am based out of New York and Los Angeles.
My skillset includes, but is not limited to directing, writing, production design, photography, graphic design, interior design, drawing/cartooning, and styling.
Recently, I worked in creative feature film development at Legendary Entertainment under Mary Parent. I assisted and mentored under the director, Loni Peristere on American Horror Stories. I directed, sound designed, and wrote a short movie titled It’s That Time of the Year Again. I worked as the Production Designer for Mallory Merk’s music video “Thorns,” Alicia Keys’s music video “Time Machine,” NoteMarcato’s “Cross Eyed Hike” and NomBe’s music video “Heels” to name a few. I am an assistant stylist to Ashling Massoumi on music videos and magazines such as Interview Magazine, Grimes, and Liza Owen. Along with this, I worked as a production assistant on Sofia Coppola’s film On The Rocks, in the summer of 2019 in New York.
I have creative directed multiple album covers and promotional releases for musicians and brands, such as Dane Schumacher, Gemmi, The Bridge, 24kGoldn, Note Marcato, Ally Barron, and Jackie Hollander. I photograph concerts, recently doing Kidbloom and Ava Maybee’s El Ray show.
I worked at Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week 2018 shooting many shows on behalf of DAMagazine and was published in 2018. I also worked on an editorial in Paris titled Power Room ‘When Girls Go To The Bathroom’.
